It would appear that the Seahawks performance yesterday created a lot of doubters going forward. Understandable. But, the only real problem is the offensive line, and the only real question is whether they will fix it before or after Russell Wilson gets decapitated. They can win without Lynch, but they can't win with the OL getting dominated like junior high schoolers.
Tavaris Jackson better be ready. They are going to need him this year.

Stafford apologists bellyache about the woeful Detroit OL. Well, he has no panache and zero creativity. He is constantly unaware of his receivers and where the rush is coming from. The Seahawks line is just as bad, yet Wilson pulls Houdini-like plays off non stop. He was easily the best offensive player on the field last night, as he is in most games. His energy level and awareness of just where he is and where his play makers are on the field are unparalleled. Hopefully that line improves because the guy is definitely going to be hurt bad given his style and their lack of blocking ability. It would be a huge loss for football fans. |

Megatron had Williams beat twice on deep throws down the sidelines that would have resulted in huge gains, if not TDs. Stafford overthrew him both times. You just can't miss those opportnities against an over-average defense. |
