They all suck but none of them is as big a bust as Matthew Stafford. This guy was the #1 pick of the entire NFL draft. He should be in his prime as a player right now. But the only thing he is in his prime at is not seeing the rush, coughing up the football and still looking for his first second read. Stafford came out young real young 21 Most are 22-23 when they are drafted. Then he got to start for the train wreck that is the Lions He has a cannon arm and yes he has some issues but bust no If he had a line or running backs that were good enough I think you'd have seen a far better player, he is just entering what is the prime for NFL QB's. I'll guarantee you half the teams in the league would jump at having him as their starter. It could be worse, far worse they may have taken Sanchez Freeman or taken Jason Smith (#2 Rams) Tyson Jackson (#3 Chiefs) or Aaron Curry (#4 Seahawks) I'm sure you'll agree they took the right player He has the coach (Jim Caldwell) that tutored Peyton Manning. They have spent countless picks or trades to surround him with weapons (Calvin was already here)...Golden Tate, Brandon Pettigrew, Reggie Bush, Ameer Abdullah, Eric Ebron, etc etc. How could you be that good in 2011 and regress to this level? Sure they did not draft any of those other "bust" QBs (the one thing I'll grant). Maybe they ought to realize that the OL is very important. The Lions would have probably picked a shitty lineman or two though. So yes, it is also an organizational problem. But HE is a bigger part of the problem than he is a solution.

Pettigrew Ebron these are picks that haven't panned out too well yet, yeah it's a little early to grade Ebron yet but Beckham Zack Martin Aaron Donald would have been better picks and with Suh and Fairley in the last year of their contracts Donald sure would look nice . Taking a TE that early was a bad move this team has serious issues on the O-line Raiola a starter bet MS is glad he retired. Tate was a good pick up Bush meh. Abdullah if he can stop putting the ball on the carpet looks like a keeper. Don't forget AP had a fumbling problem earlier in his career too. I like Stafford love to see what he could do behind a better O-line
