Not a big fan of Bradshaw... but his comment about Tarkenton "trying to find something to complain about" was genius.
Because... it's the truth.

Completely different game in the 2nd half. D-Line is gassed and the offense gets completely shut down by Falcons defense. Julio Jones - MVP.

Via Bill Voth of the Black and Blue Review, Panthers quarterback Cam Newton said Hochuli told him he “wasn’t old enough” to get a roughing the passer call when hit out of bounds against the Saints, and Newton admitted being “ticked off.”
“I was really baffled by what was said to me,” Newton said of Hochuli. “I was rolling out trying to string out the play and create some kind of opportunity to get a completion. The defensive lineman kind of hit me. It was close, right on the cusp, late hit, I don’t know.
“The response I got was: ‘Cam you’re not old enough to get that call.’ . . . I didn’t think you had to have seniority to get a personal foul.”

In case teams missed it...
You really don't want to kick the ball to Tyler Lockett.

Wonder how many of those empty seats in Miami will be filled after halftime. I'm getting Bills/Fins and 9ers/ Cards...both blow outs. I think the Fins will make a game of it at least.

Well - it appears our starting WR didn't take too kindly to a little bit of criticism leveled in his direction after his utterly useless performance today. Here's a suggestion dude. Shut the fuck up and play a meaningful game and get open. Oh - and when a pass does come your way and hits you in the fucking numbers - catch the damn thing!

Adam Schefter 1 hr · Update on Ben Roethlisberger: expected to be sidelined at least 4 weeks. But hope is that it's not a season-ending injury. Still could be. Ben Roethlisberger has an MCL sprain and a bone bruise, NFL Media's Albert Breer reported Sunday night, per a source informed of the injury. The Steelers' franchise quarterback is expected to be out four to six weeks.

My buddy's brother (Steelers fan) was sure he broke the damn thing. I've only seen some pics and gifs but it looks like he dodged a bullet if he's only out 4-6 weeks. Also looked like the "Brady rule" should have been called on that hit.

The great... and not so great. If Trestman had tossed Cutler, he'd still be there and probably doing well. Cutler is the black plague of QB's

If Trestman had tossed Cutler, he'd still be there and probably doing well. Cutler is the black plague of QB's If Cutler is the black plague Clausen is the black hole They all suck but none of them is as big a bust as Matthew Stafford. This guy was the #1 pick of the entire NFL draft. He should be in his prime as a player right now. But the only thing he is in his prime at is not seeing the rush, coughing up the football and still looking for his first second read.

Stafford came out young real young 21 Most are 22-23 when they are drafted. Then he got to start for the train wreck that is the Lions He has a cannon arm and yes he has some issues but bust no If he had a line or running backs that were good enough I think you'd have seen a far better player, he is just entering what is the prime for NFL QB's. I'll guarantee you half the teams in the league would jump at having him as their starter. It could be worse, far worse they may have taken Sanchez Freeman or taken Jason Smith (#2 Rams) Tyson Jackson (#3 Chiefs) or Aaron Curry (#4 Seahawks) I'm sure you'll agree they took the right player

He's definitely not making the progress you would expect at this point of his career. Your heroes have plenty of issues but he might be at the top of the list.

The great... and not so great. If Trestman had tossed Cutler, he'd still be there and probably doing well. Cutler is the black plague of QB's Remember when we all made fun of him - calling him this generation's Jeff George?
Well - he is. He's a coach killer and a team cancer. And - the Bears are stuck with him... or at least they are stuck with his money.
Personally, I'd eat the money and cut his ass. Hell - after trading Jared Allen today it's clear they are moving on toward the #1 pick in the draft. Might as well clean house.
