Hope you don't have Cliff Lee on that same team - MIAMI -- Phillies ace Cliff Lee had an MRI exam on his sore throwing elbow, raising concerns the left-hander might become the latest major league pitcher sidelined by a serious injury. Lee remained in Philadelphia to undergo the test after pitching 6 2-3 innings Sunday to beat Cincinnati. General manager Ruben Amaro Jr. says Lee has experienced elbow discomfort for the past three weeks. sure don't. But 1 league I do have Kershaw, Fister, Hamels and Cobb who all missed most of the season...my top 4 SPs lol 3 of them went on the DL after my draft,nothing I could do lol The only saving grace with the injuries, is that there are so many this year. As such, they are spread around fairly evenly across the fantasy landscape. |

D, buy or sell Gyorko being fantasy relevant the rest of the way? Sell. There is nothing that I know of to cause him to be as bad as he has been this year, and that worries me. I was in BUY mode in the pre-season, but, something is wrong here, and I don't know what. In fact, it would not surprise me to have him say "I played through X injury all year" once the season ends. |

My fantasy advice: take Pablo Sandoval off of your bench (or pick him off the scrap heap if you're in a small enough league). He's been heating up recently and he's headed off to Colorado. I myself would hold on getting or starting Pablo. He has had a good 7-8 day run, but, has been so bad before that, that I will need him to show me a bit more for my faith in him to be restored. After day 1, you're right so far BigD. |
