Packers Lions Vikings Bears
Packers are looking real good this season. 13 wins is what I see. they're improving in pass coverage with Randall, Clinton-Dix is in his 2nd year, they have Matthews at MLB again, 2nd season at that so he'll be even more experienced. they have BJ Raji returning, Lacy and Rodgers leading that offense, Cobb just off a contract sign, they're sitting DEEP at WR, have some solid options at TE and Kuhn is back again with another FB that is expected to be another Kuhn. this team is going to be dangerous all-around this season
Lions are looking good again this season, but they lost Suh which will hurt that pass rush. still a lot better than Minnesota or Chicago.
Vikings are improving, but I see a 7-9/8-8 season for them. nothing spectacular, nothing too weak. just an average team i guess.
Chicago is looking down. fans will really start pushing for a QB and a whole re-do of their team. Cutler still continues to suck against GB this year again.
I'll enjoy this season immensely if Minnesota/Chicago both suffer all season long.

Last place - Bears. They are reminiscent of those 2000 Cowboys to me. Way too much age and overpaid/underperforming players. Jay Cutler is better than Quincy Carter was. So there's that.
Third place - Lions. Not dismissing their offensive talent but I am going to have to be convinced their defense is better without all those guys they lost.
Second place - Vikings. I have already said it and watching them in the preseason has reinforced my belief that they will be contending for a wild card berth late into the season. This team has a chance to be really, really good. Which - as anyone who knows me will attest - sucks.
First place - Packers. My pick to win the Super Bowl. Top to the bottom as complete a team as there is in the league. Losing Nelson hurts but they are deep at WR. Injuries not withstanding, they are the team to beat.

Montgomery already has to take a bigger role now that Nelson is gone. but Cobb won't miss significant time and is expected to be ready by week 2 at the latest, he's a "questionable" player for week 1. Adams was great last season, I can see him putting up bigger/better numbers now Nelson isn't there

Chicago Bears 4-12 - Fans start dreaming of a 1st round QBTeam dysfunction solved now as for players ... Fire Sale Matt Forte among players Bears would consider tradingWith Tampa not needing a QB could the Bears be putting their RSVP in for a spot at the front of the draft They are bad enough they shouldn't have to trade too many players
