New England Patriots 11-5 -Team Brady has problems with top opposition teams Hoodie discovers he is in serious need of upgrade at CB Miami Dolphins 10-6 -Tannehill takes next step Suh helps make the Phins the best D in the AFC Philbin lives to see another season Buffalo Bills 7-9 -Rex wonders if he'll ever coach a team with a bona fide QB Most talented team in division can't win with revolving door at QB New York Jets 5-11 -Bowles so wishes that Woody hired Quinn instead of him Dysfunctional offense, locker room keeps Jets down ...again

Last place - Jets. Todd Bowles will be a good head coach. Hope this tour of duty doesn't diminish him. Because this team needs an enema.
Third place - Bills. E.J.Manuel is the posts child for letting a QB sit and learn the game for a couple of years. The kid never had a chance. And I agree with Swamp... three is a lot of talent on this team and an efficient QB would have me taking them over the Fish. Manuel ain't it and neither is Cassel.
Second place - Dolphins. Anything less than a playoff berth this year and I would damn near bet the house Philbin is gone. The owner seems to be a bit of a Snyder wannabe. Tannehill has weapons. Let's see if he takes that next step.
First place - Patriots. AFC East champ. AFC champ. Super Bowl runner up.

Patriots - they're winning the East, but they have competition from an upgraded #2. they lost a couple members on D but they're offense is solid. team is good enough to compete for SB in AFC, they'll win this division
Dolphins - upgraded D with the signing of Suh, Tannehill is getting better the past couple seasons. will compete for 1st, and don't be surprised if they win the dvisiion but I think they'll finish 2nd
Bills - better than the Jets, round 5-7 wins. won't get to .500
Jets - in the cellar. Geno Smith proves to be nothing special. get about 4-5 wins this year

I'll say Steelers and Pats for the AFC title Ed Zachary. Love Andrew Luck but until defense becomes something other than a rumor in Indy I just can't pick the Colts to go to a Super Bowl.

the D is what will kill Indy in the post-season, but I still think they make the AFC Championship Game with that offense. they have a good enough offense to create games into shootouts and that's what they'll likely end up with. the only trouble they'll have is if somebody is able to shut down Luck. they're toast when that happens.
after looking more at the Steelers, and re-watching the Steelers-Packers, the Steelers do have a good team. Pouncey going out and requiring surgery on a broken ankle will hurt that OL especially without a leader at C but that offense is dangerous. Bell says he's going to have the best season of his career, his projected HIGH in fantasy rankings even when he's missing 2 games. you have Big Ben putting up big numbers - numbers I didn't realize he was putting up recently - and Antonio Brown/Miller are 2 great weapons for Big Ben. the D led by Harrison is strong too, but the Packers were eating it up with Lacy and the run game - inside the 5, especially on their 2 2-pt conversions.
the AFC Central is a division to watch no doubt about it. you have Cleveland improving, Cincy is still there in the mix, and you have 2 top teams in Baltimore and Pittsburgh that'll compete for the top of the AFC. I just have a good feeling about Baltimore
