Russell Wilson... 4 years - $87M... $31M signing bonus... and $60M guaranteed. Tony Romo is now the 11th highest paid QB. So for all of you who thought he was overpaid when he was given that deal - this will make you feel better. I think almost all starting QBs, heck most football players for that matter, are over paid and NO it doesn't make me feel better!

But isn't that the reason you draft a QB like him? He is supposed to make plays on his own, with his legs and buying time and all. Not sure any of his coaches so far are enamored with his "reading" skills as a QB. YOu can say he does not have the supporting cast, but you cannot say he did not have a very good running game quite often, something a lot of other QBs would not mind having. If it was only his supporting cast, then there would be some teams who might have made a run at him in trade, and that has not happened as far as I know. Is there any team out there that says " If only we had RG, we would be in the money?"

I would add the caveat that I still think he would have been better served sitting and learning the game as opposed to being out there from the start. I know this - if he hits the open market after this season and I were Jerry Jones and i knew that I would have an opening for a backup QB after this season I would make a serious run at the kid.

And - in news that matters only to me & NYR, Darrin Woodson will be inducted into the Cowboys Ring of Honor November 1 at halftime of the game against the Seahawks. Did absolutely everything the right way. 5 time Pro Bowler. Owns three rings - two as a starter. Probably won't make the HOF but certainly deserves being discussed. And - here's a little known fact about the guy. Second in Cowboys special teams tackles all time... to Bill Bates. I'll leave you to think that one over.

RG3 had some serious entitlement issues not made any better by the DC fans slobbering all over him his rookie season. We'll see if Gruden's tough love light a candle under his ass or in it

We'll see if Gruden's tough love light a candle under his ass or in it First wet dreams about Kessel and now shoving candles in RG3's ass. I'm seeing a concerning pattern here. Is there something you want or need to tell all of us? Don't be afraid, we won't mock you, much.

You figure that eventually there will be a backlash by HS QB's not wanting to go to spread schools although the cyclical nature of Offense and defense's even at the slower pace of College scheme's evolution may correct that sooner or later
