Why the hell he isn't in the HoF - Paul Zimmerman. Before a stroke left him incapable of saying anything, he said Ken Stabler wasn't HoF material and he would never vote for him.
Terry Bradshaw, Roger Staubach, Bob Griese and Fran Tarkenton are all in. Ken Stabler damn sure belongs in that discussion. Shame is he'll probably get in now. That's fucked up.

Namath was the QB that gave the AFL a superstar that transcended the league and sport and in a way he helped cause the merger. I rank him higher than Bob Griese as a Q B too Bob Griese can start a Dick Duff wing in Canton |

But Griese was the ultimate "game manager" during those championship years. He's the one I look at in comparison to Stabler and ask "seriously?" |
