I don't know where BB was going with his second round pick, with so much talent still on the board, but I trust he knows a lot more about Richards than I do.

here's your DB Hubster AUBURN DB BRANDON KING SAYS HE’S JOINING PATRIOTS 05.04.15 at 8:15 am ET By Christopher Price Auburn strong safety Brandon King tweeted over the weekend he was “humbled to be a part of the Patriots program,” which likely means he’s agreed to a deal with New England as a rookie or undrafted free agent King is a 6-foot-2, 213-pounder who played in 13 games last year for Auburn, finishing the season with 12 tackles (nine solo). He’s moved around a bit, having played safety, defensive end and linebacker, and his measurables are pretty impressive, including a 4.49 40, to go along with a 38-inch vertical jump and a broad jump of 10-foot-6. itiswhatitis.weei.com/sports/newengland/football/patriots/2015/05/04/auburn-db-brandon-king-says-hes-joining-patriots/?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter"versatile"....

He sounds more like 2nd rd material than did Richards.

Not one CB or WR in the bunch, though. I'm OK with that given how they usually draft/develop at those positions. I guess that's the plan with Michigan QB, Devin Gardner. Convert him to a WR. He certainly has the size at 6'3, 218 lbs.

Drafting a long snapper. You have to be kidding me. Was he from Rutgers?!?!?! Supposed to be one of the best long snapping prospects in years. You normally have to use a draft pick to land a good long snapper. The best ones rarely hit free agency. They do last it seems like forever. But,the first pure long snapper to have been picked in the draft was Tyler Schmitt, a sixth round pick (189th overall) in 2008, selected by the Seattle Seahawks. He never played a down for them, the others actually had another position they played as a pro

I'm assuming key word there is Pure long snapper. Zac DeOssie and Patrick Mannelley are always the first two long snappers that come to mind for me. I know hey we're both late round picks and have been in the league forever. Unless theyre retired. Lonie Paxson!

Lonie Paxson! You sure that's him? That looks like a black dude wearing #91. All the pictures I see of Lonie Paxson on google are a white guy wearing #66. no that's not him. He is still white lol

I know hey we're both late round picks and have been in the league forever. Unless theyre retired. Trey Junkin was the oldest one I could think of but he played TE. DeOssie was drafted as a LB and played the position starting some games at the position. Mannelley I actually had to Google and although he did play OL at Duke he does look like he was drafted as a LS primarily. So that makes 2 ever in the draft and this kid makes . I think he'd have been a UDFA if they had passed on him

So they released their long snapper Ott giving Cardona the job. Guess Bill didn't want to hear me squawk when they cut him

It' seems kind of ridiculous though that you have hundreds of college football teams out there, all of them training someone to handle long snapping duties, yet there are still NFL teams who have holes at the position. And the ones that make it as LS usually last a long long time

I think the league should disperse all of their draft picks to other teams.
Cowboys will gladly take Malcom Brown.
