My grandson puts ketchup on his biscuits... with bacon. Fortunately he hasn't tried the Mac n Cheese thing.

Especially after a late night of wondering around 6th street. They opened an In 'n Out Burger in Austin last March, for the life of me I do not see the appeal. Disclaimer: This was before I realized there's a "secret" menu to order from.

While it's true you are - and should be - made fun of, it ain't because of ketchup.

This "secret menu" you speak of... Tell me more. I fully expect my grandsons to demand In-n-Out next weekend when we go to Mavs/Warriors. My preference would be Fuddruckers but I usually bow to their wishes.

If you google "In n Out secret menu" their "not so secret menu" will come up. It has more options than what you see on the menu there. Then there will be literally thousands of other sites that have expanded versions of that. I am curious to try it again knowing what I now know. You can literally customize every aspect of the food. Even down to the fries which you can get over or under cooked.
I'll be making a road trip from Philly to Austin mid may, gonna make it a point of giving it another chance. But Whataburger will always hold a special place in my heart. Wish they would come east. The furthest east I have found them was in Gainsville.

Good stuff. My next trip to In-n-Out will be improved. But - Whataburger is still a better option.
