Yesterday the WWE announced that the Bushwackers will be inducted into the HOF in March the night before WM 31.
During the annouincement video for their induction ther was only a vague reference to the Wackers pre-WWF history. For those that don't know, prior to arriving in the WWF the Bushwakers had a long history as a brutal utra-violent heel team known as the Sheepherders. They had a flag bearer named Jack Victory who used to carry around and wave the New Zealand (the WWF didn't change where they were from) flag. He also got involved in matches at times hitting wrestlers with the flag staff. The Sheepherders had a long and bloody feud with the Road Warriors who were the faces in this rivalry. Both teams traded the NWA tag team titles back and forth many times.
The reason I bring this up is that when WWE inducts wrestlers that also have a long history outside the WWE into the HOF (although they do a good job for wrestlers who never appeared in the , I wish they would at least mention their careers/sucesses outside the WWE. The only reference WWE made to the Bushwackers history outside the WWE was the number of tag team titles (13) they held prior to entering the then WWF. Their bloody feud with the Road Warriors is remembered by many fans, WWE shouldn't pretend it never happened and that they didn't wrestle as a team before they got to the WWE!!!!! |

Alandra Blaze/Medusa has been announced. I'm very surprised by this announcement. I hadn't heard anything about her repairing the bridges she burned/blow up but I guess Vince is always willing to let bygones be bygones if it's best for business.

The rumours going around are that Kevin Nash will be announced for the HOF and will be the anchor (inducted last) of the induction ceremony this year. We should know soon if the rumours are true.

WOW!
The HOF Induction is the best event in WWE right now. It's one hell of a ride of memories, tears, and laughter. It never disappoints and always reminds you why you became a fan of Pro Wrestling in the first place. It is hard to describe in words some of the induction and acceptance speeches. You just have to see them to understand!!!
