I had the distinct pleasure of visiting Boston and all of New England last July. My first game at Fenway was vs the Royals and even though a teen got sick and hurled all over my wife (he was not drunk, he felt terrible about it and we both got shiny new Jimmy Fund t-shirts from the workers as Fenway, they were awesome), we loved the place and the experience. But what did you guys do to piss off old Mother Nature? This weekly "snow event" is Bill Murray replaying Groundhog Day much to your horror. I know that the entire Atlantic seaboard is notorious for Noreasters, but good God. Next time anyone from the area sees the old gal, they had better compliment her on her nice sweater, or her pretty earrings, or something, anything. I saw a tweet last week showing Boston measuring snow in units of David Ortiz. The snow was literally neck deep. And I saw Zig's photos from the last huge mess. Here in Detroit we had an inch of snow over night and expect -10 by Sunday morning with wind chills near -45. The high is expected to peak out at 2. Feel like booking a trip to somewhere tropical like, well, like Denver. They are going to be at 71 today.

I think Boston and other parts of Mass. set a monthly snow fall record.
It's crazy, the wife and I were just talking about missing the old snow storms back home in NY.
We are supposed to get anywhere from 3-12" tonight.....wooohoooo

Well we haven't be as pummeled with snow as our Bostonian (non Bruin fan) friends, however January and February have really tested my patience for sustained cold. Currently -23 and the little birdies have their sorry asses frozen to the power lines.

Currently -23 and the little birdies have their sorry asses frozen to the power lines. it really doesn't bother me, other than not being able to enjoy outdoor activities. I am not a fan of treadmills or indoor cardio workouts. Matter of fact, the indoor air does a number on my throat and lungs. I like to run, hike and do cardio stuff outdoors no matter what the temp. Well maybe, needs to be north of 10 degrees.
