When I heard this Monday on The Ticket (I listen to the Ticket pretty much anytime a radio is on... and in my office the radio is always on), I cracked up. Still think it's funny. Eff political correctness. Dallas Morning News: Stars' Jamie Benn, Tyler Seguin should learn valuable lesson from Sedin controversyStars forwards Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin were caught in the middle of a controversy when they went on KTCK-AM (1310) Monday and joked about Vancouver twins Daniel and Henrik Sedin with comments that some found offensive. On Wednesday, the team issued a statement conveying an apology by Benn to the Canucks players. “Jamie Benn has reached out to Henrik and Daniel Sedin to apologize for the radio interview that he was a part of on Monday,” Stars president and CEO Jim Lites said in a statement. “The Dallas Stars have the utmost respect for the contributions that the two have made to both the game and to their community over the course of their great careers.” In a far-reaching interview that tackled several subjects, host Bob Sturm asked if Benn rooms with his older brother Jordie on the road. Benn laughed and said no. When Sturm joked that he believed the Sedins still roomed together, Benn responded, “Who knows what else they do together?” It was a line that can be construed as homophobic. The conversation continued with the hosts offering the thought that the Sedins are “creepy” or “weird” because they actually do a lot of things together and because they often have the same facial hair. |

And just so you guys know Hank and Danny have given (not raised - given) millions of dollars to Canuck Place.

To be fair to him and Seguin, the show they were on (BAD Radio) is known for their sophomoric banter and maturity isn't one of its strong suits. Probably also why it's my favorite show on the Ticket... and is on right now.
Also - they do an annual ride along with the Stars on one road trip every season. This was that... and they found themselves stuck in Boston along with the team and a whole bunch of snow and nothing to do. Add all that together and idle minds go a little insane.
Boys being boys. Just got busted busting balls.

There is a difference between brothers and twins, especially identical twins. Studies have shown that they are closer to one another than any other siblings. Throw that in with their general attitude on the ice and I can see where misunderstandings start. |

LOL - we have definably different perspectives Swampy , one of us has not watched hometown team playoff hockey for a bloody long time. We have a similar "problematic" past though - the Flames wasted top of the building cycle years with Keenan as coach, as your lads did with torts. |

We have a similar "problematic" past though - the Flames wasted top of the building cycle years with Keenan as coach, as your lads did with torts.
