If the Eagles are dumb enough to trade up for a quarterback they don't need I'll be immediately petitioning for Chip Kelly's head. You'll love Peter King's mock then *Trade: Washington gets Philadelphia’s first- and second-round picks this year, and first- and fourth-round picks in 2016 That would be too much for my taste I can see the Titans passing on Mariota as they have so many needs and will be near the top of the draft again next season where Connor Cook, Cardale Jones and Hackenberg are all touted as possible top 10 picks next season and with Prescott (Mariota lite) and Goff a 3 year starter at Cal also possibly in the mix. I think the Jets also are more inclined to trade down than up as they are weak all over their roster as well That said if Mariota falls to them they might take him. But I feel they would pass or trade down with the Rams or Browns. Can't see the Eagles getting intro the mix that early although with Kelly calling the shots it is a slight possibility. Only other teams that might go QB in the 1st are the Texans (don't see Mariota as a O'Brien type). The Bills are another team with QB issues but again don't see the fit there.

Interesting point from MMQB there is no way the networks and NFL let both teams stay in the AFC West so figure that the LA Chargers would go to the NFC West and the St Louis Rams would go to the AFC West and start a in-state rivalry with the Chiefs I, for one, detest this idea.

Luckily for me Peter King is a moron. True

McCown signs with the Browns a 3 year deal but really this is just a 1 year 2 tops bridge QB deal to see if JF can get his shit together. Well here's hoping the Browns pick ain't 22nd next season

BJ Raji is returning to GB meaning Suh isn't coming to GB. still hope they can get Cobb locked up, heard rumors they're interested in Harvin but honestly, I'd rather have Cobb. younger, more potential, better receiver imo and coming off a historically great season in GB for WR

He would, however, be entered into the league's substance abuse program. MENSA membership though is highly doubtful

They all have tons of cap space. Still betting Lions though

How much does Florida consider possession only with no intent to sell? He (or whoever is pulling the strings) must have a damn good lawyer.

from Mike Reiss
The Patriots were the only team in the NFL without a former NFL player on the coaching staff in 2014

Well - I was wrong. Come to Dallas Bro. Color me surprised Frontrunners hacve to be Jax, Raiders, Jets, Browns, Titans as they all have in excess of 45M in cap space. Dark horses (You heard it here first ) Indianapolis, Bengals and Falcons. No one else has the money to sign him unless they get creative and we've seen how teams that do that fair down the road (cough) Pittsburgh (cough)

No one else has the money to sign him unless they get creative and we've seen how teams that do that fair down the road (cough) Pittsburgh (cough) Colts could use a stud up front. That would change the complexion of that team immediately. Also heard that the Bucs could be a player for him. Lovie Smith could make a difference there. Cowboys officially tagged Dez awhile ago. They have DT needs but they don't have the cap room for Suh. And - they don't need to be touching Romo's contract to make room either. Draft well... Look for that next round of cuts in June and make smart FA decisions.

Well - I was wrong. Come to Dallas Bro. Why would they not tag him under plan B? I would not have gone the exclusive tag route because 26.9 M is an outrage for 2015 when he's going to walk after it anyway. But non-exclusive to me seems truly the right way to have done it. Let another team offer him an outrageous contract, decline to match, then get a #1 draft choice for 2016 and 2017. They are not going to keep him now, and they get nothing.

And - someone damn sure would have offered him a contract. The man is arguably the best DT and is entering his prime. I would be interested to hear if the Lions even considered the Transition tag... and why they didn't feel compelled to us it.

Well Otis, this is but the most recent exhibit (oh, probably #823 or something) why your team has the history that it has. And my team has the history that it does. The Lions management could have a diamond fall in the middle of a team meeting. They'd take a vote amongst themselves (consensus driven group that they are), and agree that the thing is too damn shiny and trade it in for a lump of coal. It is bigger, right? And it is not shining in our eyes...
