Romo's restructure created $12.8M in salary cap space. AP's salary this year is $12.75M Romo's dead money in 2016 $31.9M, 2017 19.5M better hope he don't get hurt Exactly! This is how JJ put the team in a bad place for years, but kicking the can down the road until he could kick it no more. It is like he is desperate to win NOW and the heck with two years from now. all those outstanding OLs become free agents around the same time. This could end badly, may look good now, so Cowboys better enjoy it because that window is small for most teams . |

Pretty much how the crickets down here see things... and why I'm hoping like hell that he plans on taking that extra available cap space and get Frederick & Martin tied up longer term.
Still have one more cut to come (Carr's agent said he won't take a pay cut "with the Cowboys"... read THOSE tea leaves) so if his plans are to do Dez along with Frederick and Martin, he should be able to do so.

Come 2018 the hit isn't that bad 8.9M (ain't good either) it's getting Romo there that has to be the worry |

NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday that Packers restricted free-agent safety Sean Richardson has signed an offer sheet with the Silver and Black, per a source informed of the move. Rapoport was told that Richardson inked a one-year deal worth $2.55 million.

Here is the full list of future selections acquired during the 2015 NFL Draft:
Philadelphia: 2016 third-round selection (from Detroit).
San Francisco: 2016 fifth-round selection (from San Diego), 2016 sixth-round selection (from Dallas).
Detroit: 2016 fifth-round selection (from Denver).
Washington: 2016 sixth-round selection (from New Orleans).
Doubtful there will be much NFL news before May 12th when vets will atart getting signed again as teams fill spots they didn't fill during the drf=aft

Twitter's for Twit's Example 1,232,564 On Friday, a Panthers fan tweeted a photo of Kelvin Benjamin and second-round pick Devin Funchess, describing the new teammates as "The Twin Towers." Greg Hardy replied to the tweet: "didn't the twin towers get blown up lol." Yeah... some people don't really get it. I hope beyond all hope he is a one year visitor and will be gone to decimate some other team's reputation in 2016. |
