Cowboys’ Joseph Randle arrested on drug charge in Wichita, Kan. early Tuesday
Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was arrested on a drug charge in Wichita early Tuesday, according to news reports.
Police records show Randle, 23, was arrested just before 3 a.m. in the 700 block of South Main Street after police responded to a disturbance call from his hotel room. Local stations KWCH TV and KAKE TV broke the story of Randle’s arrest this morning.
The Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Department said Randle, 23, was arrested for possessing "a small amount of green botanical substance." He was charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance, officials said.
But it remains unclear what happened after his arrest: It does not appear he was taken to the county jail, sources say, and there is no mug shot.
The NFL has also been calling the sheriff’s department for Randle’s arrest records.

The good news for him is the pot charges were dropped. Bad news is the domestic charges still stand. He'd probably be better off with the pot charges.

Cut his ass! The blotter is never dry. These guys are such morons. Nick Fairley caught a break last week and beat the DUI charge, just got convicted of reckless driving (over 100MPH)... |

DA’s office reviewing evidence in Randle case<excerpts from the article dated 2/20> Evidence in a potential criminal case involving Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle was presented Friday to the Sedgwick County District Attorney’s Office, officials said. Randle, 23, was involved in an incident on Feb. 3 at the Hotel at WaterWalk in downtown Wichita. His ex-girlfriend, Dalia Jacobs, accused Randle of pointing a gun at her friend and the infant son she has with Randle. She also said Randle shattered the passenger window of the car, sending glass flying across her friend and her young son. Jacobs has petitioned for a Protection From Abuse order against Randle. The hearing is set for March 12. Randle, a Wichita native who graduated from Southeast High and played football at Oklahoma State, has denied any wrongdoing. |
