how could your 9mm, ar15, etc stop the government if they really wanted to strike your city down with a bombing run, drone strikes, etc?
(i don't think this will happen, but it's an interesting thought experiment)

I dont think the fore fathers thought of AR15's when they wrote the constituion.
Also, what is considered Arms? Just guns? Is bombs arms?
Didn't USA and USSR have an ARMS race back during the cold war of stockpiling nukes? Can I own one of them?

Can I own one of them? this is a point I made on the poop that fell on deaf ears armaments means weapons (of all kinds). at the time of the 2nd, I think the founders wouldn't mind you equipping yourself with anything that existed to help your militia. obviously today you are legally barred from owning most advanced weaponry (as well as all sorts of older ordinance too) |
