This weekend is the worst weekend in sports TV watching. Complete void. Wish I was as engaged in college basketball as I used to be but one-and-done killed that. Baseball still weeks away.

Then went grocery shopping which satisfied the missus. Watched "The Winter Soldier" last night. Watched "300 - Rise of an Empire" this morning. Washing a couple of loads of towels today... which allows me to watch "Guardians Of The Galaxy". All without taking any shit from the wife. As as much control of my scene as I can muster. Ain't bad. |

Well infernal furniture has been moved, remaining repairs done, trim and baseboards painted, doors painted, masking complete in preparation for color. Day off tomorrow so I'm headed to what I expect will be a very quiet Benjamin Moores. Hopefully two coats tomorrow. I deserve a beer and some hockey, but I guess the All Star game will have to do. |

When I want a new tool or something, I mention it to him...he then asks if he can borrow my old one and I loan it to him...then I buy a new one and 'hide' it in the garage. Eventually I'll bring it out to use...if my wife asks about it (which is rare), I just respond that I've had it for a while... So I am helping my DIY-challenged SiL to increase his tools (and showing them how they work) while getting new stuff for me....win/win. |
