So... it appears that Canuck and I missed "something" yesterday that was posted on our little FN thread here. Rather than try and get into anyone's grill or point fingers or try to start a ration of shit, thought it better to reiterate the reason for this thread (which Macho was so gracious to start).
We felt it would be best to have an open thread for former Fan Nation members which was "Google-friendly" - in other words, could be found easily via the typical search engine. We all on this site have either felt or experienced first-hand the bullshit from out previous port of call and Zig has offered a nice little place to call home. In that vein, we all need to remember one little simple rule. This thing ain't free. He has an agreement that tosses a few sheckels his way to help foot the bill. To do anything that would jeopardize his ability to keep this thing up and running is just a bit selfish on anyone's part. I'm tired of looking for a place to post.
As you all also know (or - if you didn't, you do now), we also have a "closed" forum. It is a place where much of the "anything goes" stuff takes place. It is only accessible by asking a member (think Masons in a weird way). One should be prepared if you choose to enter that realm - it isn't everyone's cup of tea and you might prefer different.
Point is... we all have a part in helping Zig make this a success (and in doing so, offer a clear alternative to the dumpster fire that we either left on our own or were booted from with no reason other than the mods were pricks). So - remember a few simple rules as you move forward:
- If all you can do is "troll" and not add anything of substance or have a good sense of humor and perspective about all this, then move on. Maybe the Hoop is better suited to your needs. Go to the smack forums or ask to go to a closed forum where that BS is more tolerable... we're all adults and we all know what that entails.
- Do not post nudity/pron anywhere! We do have a NSFW Forum which is set up as a "group" so if anyone crosses the line they can (and will) lose their access to that area. If you want access, PM Zig. "Tasteful" nudity is allowed in the VIP area only which is another private group. More on that here:

- In other words - if you feel compelled to post pictures of pretty girls scantily clad, find a place to do it that won't have Zig fighting to keep the place afloat. He needs "the little bit of ad money" he get to help him pay for this thing "and G000gle frowns upon hot chicks unless that hot chick is in their ad..."
Bottom line is that we want more of "our people" to come here and leave the Hoop (except for DJ who sucks and brings nothing to this organization that cannot be wiped away with good toilet paper and astringement). We need to keep this thread as well as the other threads on the open forum friendly to his financial resources. Your help in accomplishing this is appreciated.
