Back home... 17 hour drive straight through. It's wonderful when you can find drivers who are like-minded in their commitment to not drop below 80 MPH once the rains subsided.
Note to Louisiana and Mississippi. Your road maintenance sucks. I'll be having my wheel alignment checked today along with my oil change and vehicle inspection. Fuckin' I-20 is a mess in those two states. Alabama has plenty of road work going on but the roads were still better than those two places.
Pulled in at 9:30 last night. Would have been sooner had it not been for a damn monsoon that hit us about 100 miles inside Texas and stayed with us for around an hour. Plenty of folks stopped. About 10 of us in pickups plowed ahead... 15-20 MPH taking turns trying to see.
Under the circumstances - it was a really good trip. I have a new appreciation for the Deep South. I was dead square in the middle of it and it was wonderful.

Sorry to hear about your cousin. Prayers and thoughts with you. Truly sad thing... my aunt & uncle had two kids. Lost their daughter three years ago to a brain aneurysm. Burying their son next to her today. Bth of my cousins were in their 50's. Heartbreaking. Lots of grandkids and great grandkids. But there's a massive hole in there. Sad news, condolences Otis. Both kids, that's heart breaking. |

Just a heads up, Clem posted on the other site the sad news that Lady's Coach Belicat who many of us knew and counted as a friend on FN passed away last month. RIP M'Lady. Damn... Bless her. She was wonderful. At least she got to watch her heroes win one more Super Bowl. She was class in every way. |

Fan Nation HOF'er if ever there was one. She could climb into the muck and also find the high ground as well as anyone there. A good teammate.
Might have to start a Memoriam page. I also have CD's avatar as well as Dooku's.

Call it... Looks great but change the color or something on the RIP, it's hard to read. I've come to the conclusion that Corel Paintshop blows. No matter what I tried, it left me with that fucked up font. Time to load my trusty Microsoft app on my home PC. No issues with it. That's the one I use at work and also used to do the car jpg's. Fuck you Corel! Not another penny from me! Bastards. BTW - I also have Cooper's avatar. |
