woodson averaged 3.87 tackles per game
901 divided by 233
so, 1.87 more tackles per game than deion

if you include assisted tackles, woodson has 4.72 while deion has 2.72
deion had 20 assisted tackles in his 14 year career
woodson has 200 and counting

Needless to say, the Raiders locker room was completely different. And the dialogue in the locker room regarding Sio Moore and Khalil Mack’s celebration, which nearly cost the Raiders dearly, was hilarious. As a recap, Moore made a huge sack on third-and-6 in the final minute. He jumped up and ran about 15 yards doing his celebration dance. Mack, who had jumped on top of Smith at the end of the sack, followed Moore to celebrate. But the Chiefs, who had no timeouts, were in hurry up mode while the linebackers were celebrating. For some reason, Alex Smith doesn’t snap the ball while three Raiders players (Benson Mayowa got into the celebration, too) are on the wrong side of the line of scrimmage. Mayowa gets his wits about him eventually. Moore and Mack, not so much. The big risk wasn’t the penalty, which would’ve still made it 4th and long after the sack. The real risk was the Chiefs getting a free play. Smith had a clear advantage with at least two Raiders players out of the mix. But Justin Tuck saves the day. He called a timeout before the Chiefs snapped it. He then immediately takes off his helmet and starts screaming at Moore and Mack. That leads to the following dialogue. Moore goes over to Tuck, who is sitting in his chair … Moore: “Don’t you ever scream at me like that again.” Tuck: “I wanted to fight you. No, I did. I wanted to fight you. You know how your brother starts a fight and comes and gets you and its six guys waiting to fight? And you don’t want to fight them, you just want to fight the brother that got you in this mess? That’s how I was. I wanted to fight you, not them.” (I then went over to Khalil Mack to get his take on Tuck screaming at him) Mack: “There was a lot of that going on. I’m still learning. …We got the win. Nobody cares about that play anymore.” On the moment of bliss he and Moore was clearly caught up in … Mack: ”It was surreal, man. We knew we wanted to get there. It just so happened we did. The rest is a win.” On whether he knew the timeout had been called. Mack: ”(Smiling). We gone say we did. We gone say we did. That’s what Sio said? Sio said we knew? … Yeah, we knew the timeout was called.” Moments later, out of nowhere, comes Charles Woodson. He walks towards Moore. Woodson: “Man, what heeeeell was y’all doing?!?” Moore’s head drops as he smiles. Woodson: “What the hell was y’all doing?” Tuck: “Did you see me? I (wanted) to punch them right in the face.” Moore: We was doing the handshake. Woodson: FOR TEN MINUTES? Moore: For seven minutes, yes. (Laughs). Moore: “Hey. I turned around and he (pointing to Tuck) was yelling at me. And (Alex Smith) was like this (Moore squats like he’s under center). Woodson: “Because they was about to go!” Tuck: “I called timeout twice.” Woodson: ”Unbelievable.” Moore: “You know how they say act like you’ve been there before? I haven’t!” (eruption of laughter) Woodson: ”You better be glad we won or we would’ve been fighting.” Tuck: ”I’ve been in this league for 10 years. C-Wood been in this league 18 years. We’ve never seen anything like that. Ever. You know how you say ‘I’ve seen it all’? I’ll never say that again.”

"I don’t need any more of that," safety Charles Woodson said. "I couldn’t believe it. I told them that was the first time I had ever seen somebody celebrate for a whole 40-second clock. That was ridiculous, and they know it. I told Sio he’s lucky we got the win because we really probably would’ve had to fight, and I would’ve seen exactly what kind of fighter he was. I’m glad we got that win."

seattle got fucked against the chiefs
"The refs are human, too. We all make mistakes." --Doug Baldwin
The above was part of the Seahawks receiver's reaction to finding out the NFL admitted a pass interference penalty should have been called on a pivotal fourth down incompletion in the Week 11, 24-20 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
Seattle coach Pete Carroll told USA Today's Jim Corbett that the NFL's vice president of officiating, Dean Blandino, informed the team that two pass interference calls were missed in last Sunday's game. One was against receiver Jermaine Kearse. The big one was on Baldwin.
"The interpretation was it definitely played a factor in (Baldwin's) route and it should have been called," Carroll said. "There's nothing you can do about it. You just have to live with it. That's just part of the game."
Baldwin was knocked off his corner fade route from the 2-yard line and the pass fell incomplete. The Seahawks had the ball two more times down four points, but never came that close again.
"Pete just came up to me today and told me the NFL came back and said, 'It should have been a penalty,'" Baldwin told USA Today. "Pete said, 'It's unfortunate. We move ahead. And we're not worried about it.'"
Baldwin was hot after the play, vociferously looking for a flag. Days later, the Seahawks leading receiver has moved on to prepping for the Arizona Cardinals, in what could be a season-defining matchup.
"I was upset after the game. And now I've just let it go," said Baldwin. "The refs are human, too. We all make mistakes."

When it comes to body parts, Adam Vinatieri should be thanking that sweet foot of his.
That foot. That right foot. That size 10 foot he kicks with (in a size 8.5 soccer shoe). That foot earns him $45,946 per play.
And that makes Vinatieri the highest paid guy, per snap, in the NFL. No. Not the highest paid kicker. The highest paid per play of any position on the field.
To put that in context: The median annual income in Indianapolis was $41,154 in 2013, according to the U.S. Census Bureau. So Vinatieri made more money each time he kicked a field goal (or extra point) than the average Indianapolis resident made during the entire year.
Of course, in the NFL, Vinatieri is far from the highest paid player. Kickers never make much compared to those get-all-the-glory, star quarterbacks.
His pay was a measly $3.4 million for the 2013-14 season. But when you consider he had just 74 snaps, that means each play was, literally, money. For the record, former Colts coach Tony Dungy was known to mouth "money, money money" when Vinatieri went out for a crucial kick.
Guess he was right.
Compare Vinatieri's workload to that of Eli Manning, who ranks No. 6 in the league for pay per snap. Manning makes $20.9 million and had 986 plays for the season. Per snap that earns Manning $21,146, less than half of what Vinatieri makes each play.
Doesn't quite seem fair does it? Could quarterbacks be underpaid?
The rundown of all this pay data comes from a study released Friday by SmartAsset, a company that uses software and data to answer financial questions for clients, such as when they should start saving for retirement and how much house they can afford.
SmartAsset used data on salary, bonuses and total snaps per player for the 2013 season. To be included, players were only considered if they started at least four games.
And the study clearly revealed, it pays to kick. Of the ten players with the highest per-snap pay in the NFL last year, eight were place kickers or punters. Of the top 50 highest paid players, nearly half, 21, were kickers. On average, the top kickers got paid more than $19,000 every time they put a foot to the ball.
Included in that top 50 was just one other Colt, punter Pat McAfee, who ranked 37th. His pay was $2.9 million and, with 244 snaps, he earned $12,201 per play.
Take a look at the top 10 players, their pay, snaps and pay per play:
1. Adam Vinatieri, Colts kicker, $3.4 million, 74, $45,946
2. Matt Bryant, Atlanta Falcons kicker, $2.9 million, 66, $44,886
3. Sebastian Janikowski, Oakland Raiders kicker, $4.9 million, 142, $34,930
4. Mike Scifres, San Diego Chargers punter, $3.8 million, 139, $27,230
5. Andy Lee, San Francisco 49ers punter, $4.1 million, 162, $25,154
6. Eli Manning, New York Giants quarterback, $20.9 million, 986, $21,146
7. Robbie Gould, Chicago Bears kicker, $3.5 million, 168, $20,982
8. Rob Bironas, Tennessee Titans kicker, $2.8 million, 151, $18,543
9. Stephen Gostkowski, New England Patriots kicker, $3.4 million, 184, $18,478
10. Adrian Peterson, Minnesota Vikings running back, $12.2 million, 674, $18,045
