I think the winner of the Pens/Ottawa game on Tuesday will claim a Wild Card spot and the loser will miss the playoffs. The Pens' end of season swoon should/will cost them the playoffs if they lose Tuesday. If by some miracle they win Tuesday they'll lose in the first round. Right now, I'm not sure which scenario I'm rooting the most for???

Wouldn't have believed for one second that we'd be talking about Detroit still trying to merely qualify for the playoffs at this point, but the Wings have fallen so badly since March 1 that some of their faces are popping up on milk cartons. They give up a 3 goal lead and then lose it in OT. 4 game losing streak and I think they were leading at one point in each game.
