They look like they have some good young D-men ready to break out Losing Nemeth when they did didn't help their cause. He showed in the playoffs last season the game wasn't too big for him. He's been a big part of their improved playthings last couple of weeks. The others have had to learn under fire. Klingberg has been really good... Jokipakka has been up and down and the Big Rig is adjusting. I recall a similar "gap" back when Hatcher and Matvichuk came up. I "think " they will be fine next season. Under fire is critical. Necessity is the mother of invention. |

Good for him. Love scoring but can't win without the backside. Gonna just enjoy the playoffs. That's all I have. Just pick 6 teams from each division and if one wins the Cup say "I told you so" over and over.

Barring a Miracle Mets like finish looks like it's Ottawa or Boston for the 8 seed in the East and 4 out of 5 teams will make it in the West between Vancouver Calgary Winnipeg Minnesota and LA Billy Buckner? Where? |
