Nolan Ryan's kid said recenlty that it doesn't make sense either but they can't ruin this tradition.... I think Oswalt got similar treatments during away games and Chipper got some shit every stadium he went to. |

I think Oswalt got similar treatments during away games and Chipper got some shit every stadium he went to. I understand that Roger Clemens and Andy Pettitte are going to be part of the honoring, which I get since they played with him all those years and both guys are local heroes, but then just make it a farewell gift from Roger and Andy. The Astros don't owe Jeter jack-squat. Only one franchise owes him anything. |
