My friend posted this on FB:
"Neurodivergence is a non-medical term that describes people whose brains process information differently than most people. It's an umbrella term that includes a range of neurological conditions and experiences, such as autism spectrum disorder, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, dyslexia, and Tourette syndrome. In 30 years as an educator, I've worked with many students and their parents who were on the spectrum, and many of them grew up to have incredibly productive lives. Frankly, we're all a bit neurodiverse because we process information differently. With that, I get that politics these days is much more antagonistic than when I cast my first vote 34 years ago. Still, if you're coming after a young person like Gus Walz, and the current climate has sullied your ability to be empathetic or even act like a human being, please unfriend me. Don't @ me, don't explain yourself in this thread, and definitely don't come at me with a "what about..." You can see yourself out. Please and thank you."
It applies to a lot of people on another sports message board's PF section.

it's a good thing, having somebody in politics that's just a nice guy. He doesn't feel the need to wear his faith on his sleeve, he lives it. Too bad that so many "Christians" don't seem to get that

He can read but he may not pick up on the writers nuances just from the sentence structure. He may have problems with complex problems solving, can't track from A to B to X. This could lead to his anxiety problems also. But on the plus side, he knows he's loved and what he loves. Considering how many people in our society have no REAL concept of love, I'd say he's ahead of the game. Wouldn't you?

well, looks like we have hit a new low. Guess we can look forward to a new attack on Gus and Scout now. Maybe Gus doesn't always feed Scout everyday and has been known to slip food off of his plate to Scout even though he knows he shouldn't?

I know I keep saying it, but he's just a good guy. It's just so refreshing to have 2 real people running for the White House.
