actually she did get smoked but that was a foregone conclusion. She was bouncing back to Iowa just enough to hopefully push Ron into 3rd. I mean he lived there and still got trashed. It's a shame the Fla. legislature went along on that plan to hide his travel costs. Kind of wondering where he's hiding all of that travel cost within the budget.

actually full retirement hasn't been 65 for awhile. When I retired in 2019 it was 67, not sure if it's already gone up more but I know it was scheduled to. The only reason I got full retirement was because my age group was "grandfathered"(no pun intended) in. That's just like most major corporations no longer offer retirement plans. That became the trend after the crash of 2007, most of them do offer 401Ks and that was their rationale for doing it(basically implied that my generation was being allowed to double dip). Problem with a 401K is that it's voluntary and I knew so many younger people that weren't taking advantage of it. If they aren't in it then the corporations don't have to match that first 6%. Personally, I've always suspected that the corporations counted on that non-participation. Probably did a lot of research to verify that particular side of it

Probably did a lot of research to verify that particular side of it I've always suspected we're very close in age. I retired in 2017 at 65 with full benefits. I'll be 72 in April. In Canada we receive two pensions from the government. One is the standard old age pension and the other is rated by how much you paid into the Canada Pension Plan (CPP). They also kick in a Survivor's Benefit when your spouse dies along with giving you a percentage of their CPP.

So? Why did she wait this long to attack all of his weak points? I mean it's not like she didn't know they existed.

I'm still torn over whether Biden can beat the Fatman. As much as I like Harris, she's got DeSantis disease. All of the personality of a clump of dirt in my backyard and an awful lot of people just don't like her. Yeah, she would kick any VP candidate's ass in a debate but she would piss people off while she did it.

I don't have issues with Donald Trump, I voted for him twice. Is that Republican speak for "some of my best friends are black"?

When have you seen a governor restrict federal border patrol agents access to the border? When have you seen a state militia take control of a section of the border and hide what they are doing there? That's not protecting the citizens, it's a fucking POWER play to advance his future political aspirations with the MAGA crowd. Let's talk about Uvalde and what a farce that has become. Those families still don't have any real answers. Their wonderful Speed Racer is hiding things from them because the optics wouldn't look too good for those political aspirations.
