my dad was down in spring training all last week. just got home says the phillies are even worse than their awful record and stats show.... LOL jesus is Howard done or what's up? Took a flier on him but I'm already decimated by injuries lol you'll get your HR's outta him zig its a flier so id hold on, the potential is there. he's a notoriously slow starter though |

anybody have any good suggestions on apps for the phones? I just downloaded the MLB AT BAT free version. Just seeing what you guys use. What are you looking to do? There's apps for everyone... You trying to play games, navigate the world, search for jobs, post on message boards, rip songs from YouTube, manage your bank accounts? I should have been more specific...sorry about that.. I meant to follow baseball. |

Only sports app I have on my very old phone is the ESPiN scorecenter thing-a-mummie, and I put it on there when i first got the phone. I can't download anything these days, keep getting error messages about "memory full" but I know that's not the case because I deleted a ton of crap, including all my games. It's something to do with bandwidth, and conspiracies, and TWC/Comcast and the New World Order, I'm guessing. do you have pics and/or videos? those take up the most space. |

Another guy, who has far better defense at first base, had 20 homeruns in 454 at bats = one homerun every 22.7 at bats. You are better off with Justin Smoak.

Just a couple of pics of my kids, absolutely no videos. It's not a very robust phone to begin with so I didn't get into the habit of putting tons of pics/vids on it. I've been told that it just doesn't have enough speed, since it's a 3G, and that I should upgrade to a 4, but as I've said so many times before: I'd rather drink the money. Unless mobile providers are going to go back to giving free upgrades, I'll keep this one until it breaks. |

After ten years on WFAN, the Mets have been dumped by their "flagship station" and now find themselves on obscure channel AM710. The yankees will now be on 660AM and 101.9FM for at least the next decade.
Now far fewer people will be privy to the solid play-by-play, thought-provoking historical anecdotes, and humorous witticisms of Howie Rose and Josh Lewin, NYC's premier all-jewish radio broadcast team.
The only solace I take out of this all is that Mike Francesa has also been dumped by his former TV network, which carried his regrettably labeled "Mike's On" broadcast from 1 to 6:30PM, and is way down the dial on some Fox Sports 2 channel, or something. The rotund and curmudgeonly Francesa has remained a fat asshole through all the changes.
