Ken Paxton busy being Ken Paxton in the formerly great state of Texas.
Seems Bexar County Commissioners voted recently to approve an outreach contract to mail county residents letters with voter registration forms. Local GOP activists spent more than an hour blasting the deal as a waste of money and insisting it would disproportionately register Democrats.
So now Paxton(the Texas AG) is seeking an emergency order to block the program. Bexar County is 61% Hispanic but that has nothing to do with wanting to block registering more voters.
Meanwhile, Harris County(Houston) is considering doing the same thing. Harris County is 27.68% White, 18.72% Black and 43%% Hispanic. Kenny is gonna be very busy this fall
