Read this story in the Washington Post, the Post reporter contacted the Texas Department of Public Safety to ask about the incident. When informed that a woman and her two small children drowned Friday nite, the DPS sergeant responded that that isn't news. "happens all the time" |

Another maga media outlet to ignore. I'm not familiar with their media sources there, have to wonder if there is still a less reactionary newspaper in the area. Tried googling it and still couldn't get a clear picture of the situation. Growing up in Houston, we had 2 papers. The morning paper was much more liberal than the afternoon paper. My dad subscribed to both of them cause he figured if he read both he had a better picture of the truth. The post editorial section was so much better than the Chronicle, they carried Molly Ivins (google her, she was amazing) She nicknamed "W" Shrub because she just didn't think he deserved to be called Bush. Unfortunately the Post went under in the mid-90s, coincided with the steep bend to the right of Texas. The Chronicle is useless, it's embarrassing for a city the size of Houston to have a paper like that. When I visit my kids, I can't even read it |
