No idea. 7.7% black, apparently the county has grown dramatically in the last few years, corresponding to population loss from St Louis proper. So parents fleeing St. Louis to establish their own little haven in this county. In July, the conservative-led board revoked an anti-racism resolution that had been passed in 2020 following the police killing of George Floyd. The resolution, which made a pledge to “speak firmly against any racism, discrimination, and senseless violence against people regardless of race, ethnicity, nationality, immigration status, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or ability,” was removed from school buildings. We're not racist! Why do we need this crap on our buildings? Just a bunch of "woke" shit! Take it down, this implies that there is such a thing as racism here. This is why we left that shit behind in St. Louis. We're not fucking racist! |
