Good luck DPT it looks like you got a live one.Oh, I am well aware of who he is. The soon to be former governor vetoed 319 bills in the 8 years he has been in office. Proposed Amendment 1 would allow the legislature to vote again on previously vetoed bills during a regular session rather than convening a separate veto session. Basically this would allow them to vote on old vetoed bills without more research or investigation of the bill. They could just rubber stamp them and they would become law. Most dealt with voter's rights, LGBTQ+ issues, how libraries are controlled etc. etc. etc. All the typical MAGA shit. The ultimate goal is for us to become West Florida. Don't say gay, no teaching real history etc. Scary, scary shit! |

I’ve often wondered why things are like this. The other day I was watching a program regarding voting and education and there was an absolute direct correlation between higher education and voting blue. No pun intended but it was right there in black-and-white ignorant people vote for Republicans and educated people vote for Democrats.
