and yet I lose sleep over the very real fact they could "win" in Nov. because our media fucking sucks and most of "us" are spoiled fucking morons. You don't even need to be all that smart (I don't claim to be!) to know shit is bad ALL OVER THE WORLD right now. Except for our little gun prob we are doing much better than most right now (as usual) but it's not as good as we are used to and we only care about what happening here. And it wouldn't hurt if our media would point out how between the pandemic and the wars, the whole world is struggling and why. All morning watching MSNBC. 4-5 times an hour with the price of gas. Does anybody NOT know gas prices are through the roof? We need reminding 5 times an hour or we'll forget? This is the same reason I haven't watched local news in months: they never say WHY it's so expensive and that's expensive just about everywhere. Same with everything else...which is about to get worse with Russia blowing up or stealing all the grain Ukraine produces for much of the world. and then (broken record on this) they just give the GOP a pass on blocking everything that most experts say would help matters and oh yeah, WHAT MOST OF US WANT. D's are "in power" but when the Senate is 50-50 (VP is the tiebreaker, whoopdie doo) and most things need 60 votes guess what? The Ds suck at fighting and the media sure does them no favors but for fucks sakes the other party has not stopped trying to pull off their little coup thingy...It is actually much easier to do exactly what they tried to do now. 1/6 Committee supposed to be about making laws to prevent coups but uh,,,good luck passing/enacting those laws by November! they win and we'll never get rid of them because votes don't matter, who counts them matters.. this is again why we need to get the insurrectionists out of our gov't pretty fucking soon...hard to believe they just get to keep being involved with governing, nevermind they should be rotting in prison. We're on the verge of giving them their power...cuz gas is expensive fucking depressing man |
