I don't know who was doing the broadcast for that game, but they had to be drinking. It was on MLB Network too when the had the announcers getting all looney. "That's right Escobar, you won't even look Gomes in the eye, you COWARD!!!!!!!

The Red Sox announcer said everything I just stated....If it wasnt Orsillo, than I stand corrected, that was an assumption on my part, but it was absolutely the Sox broadcast, and the 2 guys doing the game on Sunday The fact that you believe this should be all h evidence you need hat you truly see and hear what you want to see and here... |

But what is really going to piss you off is the reaction by the butt-hurt Red Sox announcers who rip Escobar for not challenging the entire Red Sox dugout and then running away scared, all of which is complete BS
This honestly hurts my respect for Don Orsillo. Who I have respected despite which team he covers because I believe him to be one of the best announcers in the game today. Such a shame

Word.....Like i already said, I assumed it was Orsillo, as did that guy I quoted Whoever it was, was the Sox announcer that day, thats really the point...I dont know orsillo from the Black Unicorn It was Steve Lyons... Notorious mouthy prick... And I agree the sox were frustrated and overreacted... But if Escobar is going to walk toward the dugout to start shit the. Back off in a hurry when shit gets real, he has earned some criticism... that does sound like Steve Lyons he used to do more Sox broadcasts, has done a few this season, he's actually a good announcer |
