Translation.. when my team sucks ass and i really dont have a leg to stand on, i will resort to history to try and 1 up you ~ lil bo pete no translation.
I have ZERO faith that guys who have 10+ years of sucking and quitting are suddenly ALL putting it together for one magical run.

I agree we need another starter. But lets not make it seem Hutchison is not doing a really good job. And as much as i hate to say it. Happ has looked real good. And though the hitting gets all the pub (And rightfully so) the pitching staff is 2nd in the majors with wins by the starters The wins by starters ranking is a direct result of a dominant offense. When they start ranking high in ERA, WHIP and BAA then you will have something to brag about. Glad you mentioned it. The jays Starters 1st in wins 28-14 3rd in ERA 3.69 (only to oakland and Detroit) 5th in BAA .252 As i was saying.. the bats get lots of pub. But the starters have been very good.

Derek Lowe won 15 plus games on year in Boston with almost a five ERA, so did Beckett, the offense carried them cant say the same about Buehrle, not sure it lasts, but he's the AL Cy Young winner right now and fuck you very much for making me praise the blue jays

LOL. Not hardly. He has two wins more than Tanaka and Tanaka is destroying him in every other important statistical category. Buehrle might 3rd or 4th right now. Definitely not first.

A guy with a 2-1 walk K/BB ratio is not the leader of the Cy Young.
Its
Tanaka Felix
And Kluber leads the AL in Ks. Didnt see that one coming.

When did Worrld become a Blue Jays fan?
Answer: When he looked at the standings.

He's been used to pitching on 6-7 days rest all year in Japan as opposed to every 5th day all season long here.

Buerhle's peripherals dont constitute him being the best pitcher in the AL. Felix is 8-1 with a 2.57 ERA 91ks 16BB. He also posts a better WHIP than Buerhle's. Buerhle's 46Ks and 20BBs. Which tells me he's more lucky than anything. I bet he has a funky BABIP.

He will regress because he's Mark Buerhle, and start giving up more HRs again. But he has legitimately pitched great so far. I'm not gonna make a big deal about the peripherals of a guy who tries to paint all the corners and pitch to contact..

Nasty.....Down? Is that you? No need. Reasons like this gave Felix the Cy Young award back a few years with a 13-12 record. Guy was their best offensive weapon. Yeah, I know. I remember when they were touting Nolan Ryan for the Cy Young for the same reasons when he had a 8-16 record for Houston back in the late 80's.
