I have my class tomorrow to be a precinct commissioner. I'm kind of excited about it. My understanding is they'll take my picture and mail my id badge tomorrow for Friday delivery. Then they'll start scheduling us in the next week or so. May not get my precinct but they'll keep me in town at the least. 3 members of our group have been doing it for years(Robert for 32 years) and Isaac took the class last week. Gonna be some long hours but it's gonna be worth it. |

talking to some people last night before the class started. One lady mentioned the infamous Jasmine/MTG exchange, she got Jasmine's quote wrong so I corrected her. Suddenly the whitest middle age man that I have ever seen, spun around, laughed and started telling how much he loves Jasmine. Said he checks every evening to see what outrageous thing she has said that day. Who'da thunk it? |

Stephanie was brilliant Friday night but I've always liked her. She makes her point without getting abusive or shrill. I do actually read Bret Stephens' columns on a routine basis, don't always agree with him but he usually at least makes me think about my position |
