I think she nailed it. Somehow the Fatman played to the country's insecurities, saw that it worked and just pressed on. He pushed the envelope further and lo, they lapped it up. Doesn't matter what he does or says, they just keep taking it in and diving with him deeper into the rabbit hole |

Univision has taken all of those polls indicating that more and more Latinos are turning towards the Fatman and the Republican party and acted on it. Personally I think the polls were slanted more than just a little. I grew up in Texas (Houston area) and am friends with a lot of Hispanics. What I have noted is that the older people and younger people are still pretty hardcore Demos, it's the 30-40 demographic that I have found are leaning harder to the right. The amazing thing is it's based largely on immigration. They resent the newer immigrants while admitting that their grandparents were illegal immigrants. And the ones that are fifth generation and further back are even more hardcore about it! |

yeah, I watched the whole thing on CNN. Actually I was shocked to see her there, especially considering she hasn't exactly been out and about lately. Almost makes me wonder if that wasn't kind of a kick in the Fatman's balls? |
