Sorry bud but it might have been better to stay silent. over the years, I have discussed this with multiple priests. They have all said the same thing. The first question they asked me was if I was voting for the candidate because they support abortion. Then asked me why? I answered them with multiple reasons for supporting them. Attitudes towards immigrants, support for the poor, support for the middle class, social issues etc. etc. All of them thanked me for coming to them and talking about it. The assured me I'm good and that my feelings on the social issues proved that I was following the Church's and Christ's teachings. Don't know who this guy is or where he pastors, but he is very much a rogue priest. I suspect his butt is gonna be in a sling over this one |
