they are going to say the incident report is fake, and you are never, ever going to lay hands on the video itself. The original video has probably been destroyed and all that's left is edited video

But, But, that isn't what the Republicans experts( ) on the House Foreign Affairs Committee are saying in their report that they are releasing to a breathless in anticipation America. 

A report by Republicans on the House Foreign Affairs Committee claims that the Biden administration prioritized "optics" over safety and misled the American people during the deadly withdrawal of U.S. troops in Afghanistan.



"It could have been prevented if the State Department did its job by law and executed the plan of evacuation," Rep. Michael McCaul, who chairs the Republican-led panel, said Sunday on Face the Nation. "They left these 13 service men and women hanging out to dry."

How could there be such a yuge difference of opinion in this matter? One one side we have 10 former generals and admirals who have dabbled somewhat in the matter of handling military withdrawals and doing it in such a manner to handle it safely and with control of the situation.  On the other side we have 28 Republican experts, most of whom have experience withdrawing from the house floor on Jan 6, 2021. 

Now what, do you suppose, could possibly explain the Republicans coming to such a startling difference of opinion from the retired generals/admirals? Could it be that they are trying to cover the more than ample ass of Der Fuhrer? 

No, I'm sorry, I refuse to believe that these esteemed members of the Republican party would consider politics to be more important than the truth! I just don't believe that could be the case.

I continue to be befuddled by this conundrum

I would have loved to have seen the faces of the polling folks when she went off on her rant.

Had a similar situation a few years when a red candidate came to my door asking for my vote. Seemed like a nice lady and we talked for about 15 minutes about various state issues. Finally asked her how she feels about Steve Scalise and she let me know that they were great friends and he was a wonderful congressman and great American.

I congratulated her on losing my vote cause Scalise is a two faced POS sellout. Suddenly she really needed to move on to the next house but she really enjoyed our conversation.

I laughed for 2 days over her reaction and still chuckle when I think about it.
