In historic case, father of 14-year-old school shooting suspect charged with murder
So 7 months after the FBI question his son about online threats of a school shooting. The father rewards the boy by giving him an AR-15 style rifle for Christmas.
The father has now been charged with 2 counts of second-degree murder, four counts of involuntary manslaughter and 8 counts of cruelty to children. Curious to find out why only 2 counts of second-degree murder, which victims apparently didn't count?
Gonna be interesting. Unlike the recent Michigan case that was held in a predominantly blue community, this one will be held in a deeply red area of a mostly conservative state.

On a related note, we hear from YAHOO section of the GOPRepublican vice-presidential nominee JD Vance on Thursday called school shootings a “fact of life” that he dislikes, saying in the wake of the Apalachee High School killings in Georgia that stricter gun laws are not the answer and that schools must beef up security.  Wonder how they are gonna pay for this beefed up security. They're already siphoning public school money from district budgets in the form of vouchers for private schools. And toss in that part of Project 2025 is to defund public schools.

Even for Mitch country that's pretty outrageous! No background checks in a state that basically if you can prove you're potty trained, you can buy an AR-15. I have to wonder if buying 2,000 rounds shouldn't be a pretty good indicator of what you are going to do. |

While I have no doubt that it would be extremely satisfying personally, she just doesn't strike me as the type to get her own hands dirty(no matter how much it benefitted humanity, as if she would even consider that side of it  ). I could however see her trading BJs for someone else to either do it or at least set it up |
