Bortles played as well as anyone could ask. On paper, you can hate him, but he came to play last night. Eh, its a 4 quarter game, and at the end of the day put up 2 field goals in the second half, and repeatedly could not convert big first downs With that said, I agree, by his low standards, he was not overall Bortles bad |

Brady/Belichick have been to 7 SBs prior to this & all of them were decided by 4 pts or less or went to OT.

Brady/Belichick have been to 7 SBs prior to this & all of them were decided by 4 pts or less or went to OT. Thats pretty amazing cuz McDaniels blows. Offense never does squat in the first half and I'd bet it's Hoody that makes the adjustments |

Random thoughts.
Patriots almost never put the hammer to anyone on offense or on D. The defense is never made up of stars and is not intimidating like the classic Steel Curtain, '85 Bears or any of the classic defenses over the years. But no matter the cast, the coaching and play calling on that D is always consistent and dependable.
And, with few exceptions they end up allowing fewer points than the opponent.

They have more un drafted guys and cast offs from other teams than any other team...They also have the advantage of having guys wanting to come here for a chance to win so they'll take less money..lol Just got Harrison off the scrap heap and he's made some huge plays.. it's almost not even fair |
