he seems like an Altuve lite..........and Altuve is a sure 1st rounder.......
I was thinking Turner at like #11 or 12

Noooo...that is way too early for him. in a half season, he stole 33 bases......and hit 13 HRs.......and hit .342
he seems like an Altuve lite..........and Altuve is a sure 1st rounder.......
I was thinking Turner at like #11 or 12
I'm not sure we can expect him to perform to that same level. Seems overly optimistic to me. Especially when it comes to using a 1st round pick. |

seems to me you want to be in the 4-5-6 range in the 1st round.....then you get a stud and still a good pick in the 2nd, any later, you miss out on one of the top guys......any higher, you miss out on a good 2nd rounder.

If I had nothing but closers.......I would do well in saves, WHIP, ERA, but likely last in wins & Ks.
If I had a ton of starters...I could have a starter in the lineup every night......but odds are some would suck and it would kill my WHIP & ERA for everyone.....
those 2 extremes, you go with the closers.....so no reason to have a mediocre starter on your roster? |

Yes both will be in rotation, however I would hope the Reds wait for three weeks, or whatever, before bringing up Garrett, so to get that extra year. With DeScalfani hurt, the rotation is a huge cluster of meh, beyond Finnegan and Feldman. |
