Loggains must prove he's capable of getting most out of TrubiskyHard to grade him or Trubisky with that lacking WR corp. Reminds me of the Rams 2016 before they got ex-Bills starting tandem from last season (Watkins, Woods)Goff sure looks better when players can get open. Yes McVay's schemes and concepts `are a lot of it. But how much is put on Fisher's D-III offensive schemes anyways back on topic (thanks Peachy) Anyways I am not a liker of changing OC's on young QB's although I am partial to having QB coaches change tho

He was healthy and inactive for the Chargers(their #6 receiver) he has 2 catches this year.
He is immediately Trubisky's best weapon at WR.
(Also getting Marcus Wheaton back this week.)

Fox with the bears is 0-5 straight up when they are the favorite.
Don't know what is more sad, that he hasn't won in 3 years as a favorite......or that they have only been favored 5 times in the last 3 years.(1st time being a favorite in over a year)
And its going to be rainy/freezing rain and cold. This has the possibility of being a really shitty time for me at Soldier.
bet the Pack +5.5

I read that yesterday in the Pro Football Weekly section of the Rockford Star Register. I feel that he has good points. The only real blunder so far was Glennon. The rest of the things that went wrong were, by and large, due to bad luck and injury (Kevin White anyone?). Much better job following the hole dug by his predecessor.

There is always the turnover as scheme will dictate a few square pegs in round holes. Grabbing Fangio who the Niners should have promoted over Tomsula was a great get. They have a very good D pretty good O-line. I wouldn't consider the Glennon signing a blunder after all they didn't have a QB on their roster. You have to occasionally swing for the fences and when you do that you strike out a bit more. His drafting has been above average lots of late round hits, which is what gets your depth and back end of your roster up to snuff and in the Emery era their depth left a lot to be desired, which was a continuation of the lousy job Angelo was doing I believe that the Bears are 2 seasons tops away from being a true division contender

The only problem I have with them signing Glennon is that he does not fit that offense as a pocket QB. That is, what little offense there is. But when there is such little offense, better to pick a guy that can fit in with whatever schemes you favor, since you are already weak as Hell personnel wise.

I thought he was a better fit for Arian's offense in Arizona, better than Stanton anyways

Didn't matter who it was.....could have been Hoyer, Glennon, Osweiler.....whoever...doesn't matter, they weren't going to be good this year, and he knew he was getting Trubisky. Who had WAY less experience than your normal rookie QB(only started 1 college season) So they were going with a vet for one year until Trubisky was ready. Who cares that they wasted the money...its only money. They have more.
I think Pace has done well. Everyone has misses. Last year he had 3 draft picks make the all rookie team (Floyd, Whitehair & Howard) out of 22 rookies on the team, bears had 3. This year, Trubisky is a wait and see, but so far, so good, Eddie Jackson looks like a steal at safety, Tarik Cohen could be a nice weapon, and the TE is developmental(going to see some more touches now that Miller is out)
Fox and Loggains have to go. Unimaginative and predictable offense.....run, run, pass on 3rd and long. That is not how you help your young QB.
my god did that game suck yesterday.....defense was not good. Missed Trevathan more than I thought they would.

"Everyone has misses"...true there. The "next" good free agent signing for the Lions will probably be only their second. Golden Tate is the only one that comes to mind that was ever any good. Next time Fox wants to challenge a play, someone needs to grab the red challenge flag and hide it from him. They did miss Trevathan as the Packers put up a surprising attack on the ground. Mitchell Trubisky has a gun. If they don't let him throw more now, Loggains is even worse as an OC than he has shown to date. They are not going anywhere this season so let him learn now. The Bears run game will prosper from mixing up the plays whether he is as a successful as he was yesterday or not because it is solid. Do you think they'll lose Fangio if they dump Fox? Could he be a possible candidate to replace him at HC in your opinion?

I would see if Fangio is interested in the HC job. If he is, then easy decision. Its his.
I'm not sure if Fox is tying one hand behind Loggains back and forcing him to be so f-in conservative. But even if that is so.....can still do something other than run-run-pass....run-run-pass....so predictable.
I would like to keep Fangio....everyone else can go.
From what I can tell...Fangio's strength is designing gameplans and calling plays. Not sure he is a big picture guy. If he was the HC, I would still want him heavily involved in that. and get kind of a co- head coach for the offense and just leave him alone on that side.

I think Hub agrees with you Hub Arkush: Are Chicago Bears coaches giving players best shot to win?

I would pick the Bears to win this game outright...except for the fact that Trevathan and to a lesser extent, Callahan are out. the bears looked unorganized and sloppy without their playcaller on the field last week....and without their nickel corner,(Callahan) and leading tackler(trevathan).....I fear that Golden Tate will run wild on short passes..
And the bears offense will have trouble keeping up.
