For all the shit Ryan is getting, he scored 28 points. His soft d let up 31 in a half. His soft d got soft because the MVP never let them get off the field. How about not snapping the ball with :13 left on the play clock and the clock running (for one of the few times late in the game as Shanafuckinghan by-and-large gave up on a ground game that was kicking ass)? How about handing off with an 8 point lead that could have been 11 given anything short of a kicker plagued by ALS at the same point? Until they were gassed by the stupid assed offensive coaches yielding time of possession to the tune of 3:1, the young dudes on the ATL defense were absolutely outstanding. The d was great the first half. I also think bill is a supreme in game coach. Atlanta played the second half afraid to make mistakes, and they made mistakes. |

Just fucking hate Matt Ryan. Hate Dan Quinn for his play calling Should've ran the ball and kicked a FG to go up 31-20 w 3:45 left ya think? Right on Mell...how brain dead could they get? |

Their pass d was weak the second d half. To be fair, they were weak on slants the entire game. The pass rush disappeared in the 4th quarter. Most likely due to the number of snaps. It didn't help that Atlanta was running the Chip Kelly HUNH. Chip, ironically, is rumored as a favorite for the OC gig. I really think if Atlanta won, Jarret was winning mvp. He's the only guy who brought pressure that second half. |

Nitpick on slants.. So they were no 1985 bears.. The Patriots had 93 Snaps... Nitpick on slants? Lmfao. Not taking away from this game, but bill Walsh made an entire offense off quick slants. Everytime ne tried one, it was easily open. yam... I mean in terms of the overall defensive game plan.. They were getting a ton of pressure on Brady... How often do you think a defense gameplan is actually perfect? |

Smart poster yam said that all week. The falcons d looked like regular season falcons d in the second half. Can't kill a team losing to a bill run team in a big game. |

just read the last 15-20 pages, pretty funny seeing the range of emotions. Crazy game. Thought it was over after that Julio catch. Enjoy New England! The only shot the falcons had at winning was stopping one of those two point conversions bc they couldn't stop anything else in that 4th quarter. |
