How do you two not point out Pudge in Bonds isnt THAT is the comp numbnuts It's now impossible to keep Bonds and Clemens out. Cat's out of the bag. Any arguments to the contrary will fall on deaf ears. Hoffman JUST missed. He and Vlad get in next year. Bonds and Clemens will take 2-3 years.

Heard this on the baseball show of record down here...
Pudge with 76% is the lowest percentage to get in on the first ballot since 1962.
The previous guy - with 77.5%... Jackie Robinson

It really is. I wouldnt vote any of them in. But how they fucking pick and choose is lunacy. Also. Im in the minority, i know. Trust me I know But ivan rodriguez was never a guy I thought screamed first ballot. Guy is borderline for me. I dont care that he was a catcher. They should have a great for a catcher wing imo

I would make him wait like Bagwell did.

Mike Mussina's 7.11 K/9 would rank 9th among Hall of Fame pitchers after Unit, Pedro, Ryan, Koufax, Smoltz, Gossage, Gibson, Carlton.
Mussina's 3.58 K:BB would be 2nd best among Hall of Fame pitchers (min. 10 years pitched) after Pedro.
