Royals have 150 mil laying around? Not for him They will find some for Duffy in the next week or so, but Hosmer, Cain, Escobar and Moo will be traded by the deadline The CBA fucked them and forced them to make trades instead of getting the draft picks "That'll teach you to be successful"

The Royals last had an arbitration hearing in 2006, under Allard Baird, when the club lost to Emil Brown.

The Padres are nearing agreement on a multi-year extension with first baseman Wil Myers, according to Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports. He is expected to receive a six-year deal with over $80MM guaranteed.

It's too bad the Padres are content to be a farm system for the other teams in MLB.

True, they are the old Kansas City Athletics. Myers...good..but it's only one year True, but he's 26 and it's not even that much money per year Well, by current salary standards its not much. How in Hell did we ever get to where saying $80 M is not much? Catfish? Reggie?

7/49/.230/.306 = $180M

Haha yeah you know what I mean. I think that could definitely be a good deal for SD.. until they trade him anyway

Cmon pirates........you need a cost controlled starter for the next 4 years. He is better than anyone you have now. You want Quintana, you NEED Quintana. Meadows and Glasnow....+ 1 more call it your 6th or 7th best prospect. Make the move.

And as long as we are at it......who wants Robertson.......all rick Hahn should be asking for is a blowjob for him. Would probably settle for a handjob.
And....someone give the sox 2 18 yr olds with upside for Frazier.....
If the sox cant move those guys, they are going to mess around and win 79 games and get the #15 pick instead of a #3 or so.

Glasgow and Meadows are ranked 8th and 9th overall prospects in baseball right now
That's a ton for almost any pitcher

Ryan Howard wants to keep playing. Is there a market for him other than playing in Lady Pickles anus?
I think you have to eliminate the National League completely and then narrow it down to an AL team with a hitter-friendly ballpark who also needs a DH/1B type.

Cant be a good sign for him that Napoli still hasn't signed, and word is the Rays are the most interested, and he will probably get a lot less than he originally wanted
I could see Howard land on the A's or some shit, they just signed Rajah Davis, which was a nice pickup, but the A's seem like a team that would take a chance on Howard

Don't worry. Someone will surely take Robertson off your hands. No later than July. And you'll get a lot more for him at the deadline than now anyway.
