No, I actually spent it on a contributor. Rishard Matthews had a real good game thanks to that second half long TD. |

No, I actually spent it on a contributor. Rishard Matthews had a real good game thanks to that second half long TD. I picked up Robert Woods two weeks ago and he paid immediate dividends. Also picked up Latavius Murray yesterday. He seems to be the guy in Minny now and he's average 11.8 points over the last three weeks. Not great but good enough. This weekend he goes against a struggling Rams run defense that is statistically rated in the bottom third of the league. If the Vikes keep the game close, he should get at least 17 touches. |

The "name of the game" by the time the NFL hits week 10 or 11 is "attrition". Those who are paying attention (as obviously you are) reap the benefit of an ever changing landscape. Woods posted one of the top five point totals for a single game at WR as anyone in the league this year. Murray is exactly as you described. If you read enough articles and follow the trends and match-ups, you can even transform a team that did not draft particularly well into a surprisingly strong unit. Some people draft a team that is clearly the best as far as talent goes in their league, only to watch it gradually decay (or sometimes decay quickly) and take no action. Like you acquiring Latavius Murray beats the piss out of a lot of owners that still have Dalvin Cook taking a roster spot up when he is done for the year. ...Why fools even sign up for these leagues, whether they are free or prize leagues is beyond me... Good luck going forward Sir...just not TOO much. I like competing with people that actually stay the course. |

Hell, I finish in a three way tie for fourth but wind up out of the playoffs at 8-6 by some tie-breaker.
Season of streaks. Start 3-0, end 3-0 but go 2-6 in the middle. So I guess its not really a playoff worthy team anyway...

Rubber game between me and Ziggy this week. Winner goes to the Championship. He blasted me 4 weeks ago, but his players have tougher match-ups this week. It is time to take the steam out of the Steamers.

NAW I do like the differential idea tho. |

If you mean differential from my team's points scored and PA, I would grudgingly support that. |

heh I dont remember re-opening the league but apparantley I did,,,It shows 10 of yous rejoined the same day and time I re opened it but I have no idea if that's true... Anyhoo I set the draft for 2 weeks from tonight...a few days before the 1st game...incase we get at least 10...I aint chasin nobody!
