I also saw Fitzpatrick hit one downfield in the 3rd quarter where there was one Jet in sight and he was surrounded by 6 Bengals and the Jets picked up a 30 yard gain.

I thought making short screen passes was "easy" and that "anyone" could win games that way. I assumed these NFL coaches just wanted to make the game a little more challenging by having their QBs opt for bombs more often, unlike that pussy Belichick.

Wentz 271, 2td, 0int* *Vs the browns. Nice debut for a guy who played 2-3 series in the preseason. What was his comp %? 22-37 (59%) Had a few balls knocked down at the line (like step back wr screens batted down) and a few bad drops. (balls right in the hands/chest dropped). Overall he looked really good. Didn't look like he got rattled at all. Note, it was vs cleveland, so that inflated the performance I'm sure. |
