cant hit bad lineup cant field the ball anymore shitty manager apparently cant even steal a base now Gordon shot foul by a foot Fair by a foot a month ago yeah, he fucking crushed that. its a shame he's the only major league hitter we have right now. one of two starters with an ops of 100+

I saw that. To make matters worse , I'm pretty sure Nathan tried the same move and he returned to 2nd safely. They pretty much told Dyson we are paying attention And a shame cause the way Nathan has pitched , I would have bet they tie that game yeah, he did when you pinch run in the middle of an atbat, im pretty sure everybody knows what going on. you'd like to think your runner also knows that everybody knows whats going on. fucking idiot Yeah that's all on Dyson for me, I can't really kill Yost, Dyson before anything has to know the one thing he can't do is get picked off. Like you said his run means nothing if they don't score twice, so a substantial lead wasn't even necessary. But I guess the double steal thing I guess

The Royals have ALWAYS played the Sox tough over the years. Even some really good Sox teams had trouble winning there. Of course, now that the Royals are the "favorite" they can't play at all. I'm practically rooting for the Royals at this point, as I'd like to see them in the playoffs. Apologies in advance for the Sox sweeping them this weekend. It would just be too typical.

Royals just lost to a Red Sox team where Allen Webster lasted 6 innings and Daniel Nava was the 3 hitter. Wow. I'm pulling for the powder blue, but that is not a good sign.

“It’s frustrating that we were one out away from getting to Kelvin Herrera with a one-run lead,” he said. “That was frustrating.
funny thing about being the manager, you can bring in any reliever you want, whenever you want, dumbass. ================================
“Because I had confidence in Aaron Crow,” Yost said. “That’s why. Aaron Crow’s inning is the sixth inning. Kelvin’s is the seventh.” so the rules state relievers can only pitch an inning at a time? ===================================
With two runners in scoring position, the game hung in the balance. Yost would say later he desired a pitcher capable of getting a strikeout. His choice would inspire scratched heads and gnashed teeth.
Yost looked away from Herrera, Davis and Holland. He ignored the veteran presence of Jason Frasor, who fans a batter per inning. He settled upon Crow, who is undergoing the worst of his four big-league seasons. Crow entered the game with a career-low 5.0 strikeouts per nine innings, down from 8.3 per nine in 2013 and 9.4 per nine in his All-Star season of 2011.
======================= COMPLETE FUCKING IDIOT
LIKE IVE BEEN SAYING FOR 3 FUCKING YEARS

Ned Yost said he chose Aaron Crow for the sixth because he wanted a strikeout. Crow strikes out 5.0 batters per nine.

"confidence in aaron crow" Aaron Crow's last 18 IP: 21 H, 12 BB, 11 K, 7 HR, 8.00 ERA At least you guys are still in the hunt. The Mariners wouldn't recognize homefield advantage if it bit them in the ass. Couldn't beat the self-destructing As and now 7 of their next 10 games are against the hottest team in baseball. Dumbasses.

But, ask me again this time next year. Seattle has only had one manager in 38 years who managed well over multiple seasons.

Royals beat Angels 8-3 to finish off ALDS sweep 510 Associated Press KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Alex Gordon hit a bases-clearing double in the first inning, Eric Hosmer and Mike Moustakas each homered and the Kansas City Royals beat the Los Angeles Angels 8-3 on Sunday night to finish a sweep of their AL Division Series.
Back in the playoffs for the first time since 1985, the wild-card Royals will face the Orioles in the AL Championship Series beginning Friday night in Baltimore. Kansas City went 4-3 against the O's this year. The Royals' James Shields allowed homers to Mike Trout and Albert Pujols over six otherwise solid innings. C.J. Wilson failed to escape the first for Los Angeles, giving up all three runs on Gordon's tone-setting double. The Angels are the second team in the divisional era to have the majors' best record and get swept from the playoffs. The Yankees were also swept by the Royals in 1980 ALCS.
