*If you recently had your favorite place to post get shut down (which is the reason we're here!) We have plenty of room here and I can even set you up with a private board just for your group so you can keep in touch, and of course you'd be welcome to use all our forums but there are a couple more rules out in the open forums.
First let me say I am no webmaster and this is not my main job. I am just an avid sports fan that tired of looking for a good place to talk sports after my prior posting "home" (CBSSports) closed up. Myself and some of my e-friends from CBS tried a few other sports forums and long story short, here we are.
I think despite my limited webmaster capabilities I have put together a pretty good place to talk sports. And we also have an off topic/non sports area where you can discuss just about anything-Politics, Music, TV, Current Events etc...And we offer a lot of great features to make posting better and more fun. Most of these features are currently only available for desktop/PC users but we will soon be "responsive" which basically means they will also be available for mobile users. The mobile version of the site is great already, you just have to scroll to the bottom of the site and click "switch to mobile". We are also available via the tapatalk app if you prefer.
Some of SportsChatter Sports Forums best features:
*We offer about 15 different board themes/skins to pick from if you dont like how the site looks (again, I'm not a webmaster!) On desktop click the orange T in the lower RH corner to easily switch your theme
*It's very easy to post pics, vids, gifs , tweets, vines, FB vids etc...
*It's very easy to quote/reply to posts and create your own thread and you can even "edit"
*tons of smilies
*notifications when somebody replies to or "likes" one of your posts
*earn fake money just for posting. You can use the money to buy "bling" for your profile, invest it in our stock market or just bank it and gain interest. Sometimes we'll have contests where you use the money for the entry fee and during the NFL season you can wager on the games.
And probably best of all, we don't have a bunch of rules here. You wont get banned for disagreeing with me or the mods or just because I don't like you. Our only rules: I cant have pics of half naked chicks anywhere, not even for your avatar, except for in the 1 forum for NSFW stuff. No personal attacks or posting of others personal info. And dont troll the team specific boards. Those are meant for fans to be able to talk about their teams sans the trolling. You will always get a warning for any first offense and a 2nd offense will get you 24 hours off. You wont get perma banned without at least a couple of chances. I/we do not want to ban anyone but I do want a mostly friendly, fun site although if you just like to troll we do have an area where pretty much anything goes too.
