The Icon is having Tommy John surgery this week . A torn Cursor Cuff. If all goes well with the restart, he could be back next August. That hurt in ways unimaginable. Who is "The Icon"? |

You could fill a wing of a large medical center with that list. If it is any consolation, the Rangers are the best team on paper. Problem is all that paper work is in files at doctors' offices. Not sure if people know just how good that Rangers team would be if it were all on the field at the same time. |

Well - since Banny and Daniels issued their "tough love" edicts... and since Banny did away with bullpen "roles" and went to a more situational approach, they have been better. The starters were going to get fried again had he not done something with the bullpen. Still a work in progress but it's better... and it's the West. But it's still about 2017. I got a good look at Gallo and Alfaro last weekend at AA Frisco. They should be ready then. Also got a good look at Hamilton. It was AA and the Corpus Christi pitchers weren't much better than the Frisco pitchers (30 hits by both teams through 6 innings - never seen anything like that) but he was seeing the ball really well and wasn't chasing pitches. Looks like he'll be up next week when they go to Cleveland. I have very low expectations... but if he can match his last two years in LA he'll make the outfield better. That's how low the bar is right now. |

If you are bad you have the same cast of characters from beginning to the end..

We all are and those Steelers Killer B unit's can't join the hats quick enough IMO. |
